2016 Vision Board

I'm so excited to share this with you! It's never too late to start a vision board for the remaining months of the year. Emotionally, so much has happened in the last year and a half. It has been a time of self-discovery and personal growth. I have been all over the place and I'm close to deciding which paths I am going to take.

From top left to bottom right:

o1. Decorate for Halloween &
o2. Complete room redesign
In general, I tend to not decorate, but I really wanted to be surrounded with the feeling of Halloween. However, this has evolved into a project of completely redoing my master bedroom (where I sleep). I even developed an outline for this project! So this is happening!! :)

o3. Eat more vegetables and some fruit
I'm not a big fan of fruit except for a few yummies like bananas and red globe grapes and avocados, so I don't think it's a bad thing if I only eat fruit every now and then. For vegetables, however, I decided to give up on making salads and mixing veggies together in meals. I LOVE veggies. But I love them separately. So now I've been buying things like carrots and snow peas and romaine lettuce. Seriously! People should really eat vegetables in their original form and savor the delicious tastes! ❤

Considering my new degree, I need to catch up and get to reading in my genre of choice. One of my insecurities is that I am a slow reader so my hope is that the more I read the faster I will become.

o5. damaen

o6. Discovering damaen-fashion style
I need to define my style and I know it is similar to the lovely girl in the photo. Defining my style has always been on the back burner because I always strove for "the perfect body." So I decided to dress in my style from here on out.

o7. Eat more natural, home-cooked meals
Shamefully, I have wasted so much money on groceries and restaurant eating. I am just not a fan of cooking. I don't like doing it. So! The arrangement my roommate and I have is I will buy the majority of the groceries and he will cook the majority of the meals. So far, it's working out quite well.

o8. 2016

o9. American Murder Song
I am a huge fan of Terrance Zdunich's Repo the Genetic Opera and The Devil's Carnival. So when I read that his latest project American Murder Song was going on tour, I quickly went to the site to purchase my ticket. When I got there, I was greeted with a variety of packages. Well, I decided to "just do it!" and purchased the package where I will be a participant. I'm just not sure how much of a participant it will be. November 4th can't get here any faster!

1o. Creative Writing
I have been in web development since I was fifteen-years-old and I am ready for a change. (You wouldn't think that considering my current layout.) I'm focusing on my writing and working on a plan for a career change.

11. Declutter 101
Okay, now it's starting to get bad. I should combine this with o1 and o2 above, but I don't want to limit the room(s) I start in.

12. Create a plan for my own story
I have decided on the genre and themes that I am going to focus on. There is always the possibility that I will begin working on a different piece, but for now I'm going to focus on that and see how far I can go.
